Description
HR runs on data that arrives messy. Exports from the HR system, absence returns from managers, recruitment trackers built by whoever needed one, and payroll files that almost match but not quite. This course teaches you to clean that data, bring it together and report on it, rather than spending your week reconciling spreadsheets by hand.
Who This Course Is For
HR advisers, HR business partners, people and culture teams, recruitment and resourcing staff, reward and payroll colleagues, and anyone who produces headcount, absence or turnover reporting.

- Moving, copying and hiding sheets, to tidy a file before it is shared
- Summarising a long list with an outline
- Attaching comments to cells, to record the reason behind an entry
- Creating and customising charts

How the Course Is Delivered
The course is delivered online through our interactive learning system. It shows you each technique, then asks you to do it yourself in a live version of Excel, marking your work and correcting you as you go. That function is called the virtual tutor. It is part of the software rather than a person, so the training fits around your working week instead of taking a day out of it.
You do not need Excel installed on your computer. Everything runs inside the training system.
Your CPD Certificate
The course is accredited by the CPD Standards Institute. Complete the training, pass the assessment, and you receive a CPD certificate in Excel for HR Professionals. The assessment and the certificate are included in the price.
